Every year we patiently await Ramadan to see what Egyptian heartthrob Asser Yassin has in store for us. After dazzling us post-fitar every day for the past two years with ‘B Meet Wesh’ and ‘Suits Arabia’, now the legendary actor is going regional, joining an all-Arab cast for a new MBC production dubbed ‘El-Thamania’ (The Eight).
The new television series features a star-studded, all-Arab cast including Ghada Adel, Khaled El-Sawy, Mohamed Mamdouh, Reem Mustafa, and a handful of acclaimed Moroccan and Saudi actors. Off-screen, the series will be directed by famous Egyptian Director Ahmed Medhat and Written by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia.
