Dubbed the ‘Williamson Pink Star’, this rare diamond is one of just two internally flawless pink diamonds weighing over 10 carats to ever be put up for auction along with the record-breaking CTF Pink Star, which sold at Sotheby’s for USD 71.2 million in April 2017.

This 11.15 carat flawless vivid pink diamond kicked off its roadshow in Dubai with a display at the Four Seasons Dubai in DIFC and will head to Hong Kong in October to be offered by Sotheby’s in a standalone, single-lot auction. The rare beauty is estimated to sell for an excess of USD 21 million with specialists believing it has the potential to set a new record for the price per carat for a fancy vivid pink diamond.
An extraordinary natural marvel, the cushion-shaped stone was named in tribute to two legendary pink diamonds: first, the record-breaking CTF Pink Star; and second; the celebrated ‘Williamson’ stone – a brilliant-cut, 23.60-carat diamond of 23.60-carat given as a wedding gift to Queen Elizabeth II in 1947.
