Under the umbrella of the annual Cairo Design Week, this year’s Fashion Design Week – curated by renowned stylist Mai Galal – brings an immersive haute couture experience to Cairo, showcasing a colorful variety of top-tier local, regional, and international high-fashion brands.
Set in the heart of Cairo at Al Korba, Fashion Design District is a cornerstone of the Cairo Design Week. For a full week starting the 19th of November to the 25th, Villa Magenta will be transformed into the ultimate fashion destination, hosting special and limited edition designs by world-renowned brands including the likes of Bvlgari, Okhtein, and Carolina Herrera.
For this edition of Cairo Design Week, Fashion Design District is pulling out all the stops, looking to capture the imagination of both regional and international audiences. The seven-day experiential event is celebrating the art of fashion design through a curated journey that winds us through the fashion world’s most historically significant milestones and iconic moments.
Along with hosting and showcasing iconic brands and designers, renowned regional fashion powerhouses will deliver expert panel talks to discuss some of the most pressing issues in the fashion and design world, diving into everything from self-expression through the art of dressing, the new wave of disruptive brands and how to make a change while remaining culturally relevant.
